Vail Resorts Takes Precautions for Coronavirus (COVID-19)

All Vail Resorts properties are operating normally. The health and wellbeing of our employees and guests is our top priority. As a part of that commitment, Vail Resorts is closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization’s (WHO) statements regarding novel coronavirus (COVID-2019) and following the guidelines from these agencies, as well as from local health departments where we operate resorts in the United States, Canada and Australia.

Whistler Blackcomb Beats December Snowfall Record

In the final days of 2018, Whistler Blackcomb set a new snowfall record for the month of December and the snow hasn’t stopped falling. Daily statistics compiled by the mountain show a record 384 cm of fresh snow fell last month, beating the all-time record for a December month, set in 1994, by four centimetres.
