Today, Keystone Resort announced that it will open for the 2022-23 winter season on Friday, Oct. 28 with 2 miles of skiing and riding on the signature Schoolmarm and Silver Spoon trails. Additionally, skiers and riders will have access to a hike-to terrain park on Spring Dipper. In celebration of Opening Day, guests who arrive early will be treated to free donuts and hot cocoa, as well as first chair prizes from Helly Hansen. A mountaintop DJ experience will keep the party going throughout the day.

Keystone announced today their opening dates for the winter 2022-23 season, starting with Keystone's kick-off in October and running all the way until spring with Breckenridge open well into May. Keystone will open as soon as weather and conditions permit in October, thanks to its state-of-the-art, energy-efficient snowmaking system. Breckenridge and Vail will follow on Nov. 11, and Beaver Creek and Crested Butte will open on Nov. 23. All dates are weather and conditions dependent.

Keystone is headed into summer with golf leading the way. The River Course at Keystone is set to open on Friday, May 13 and The Keystone Ranch Course will follow on Friday, May 20. Keystone’s full 36-hole golf facility with two authentic and distinct courses is set to operate daily through October 2, as weather and conditions permit.

As ski and ride season begins to wind down in Colorado, Vail Resorts’ five Colorado resorts announced today plans for their summer operations. Crested Butte will kick off the summer season and on-mountain operations on June 11, followed by Vail Mountain and Breckenridge on June 17, Beaver Creek on June 18, and Keystone on June 22.

Keystone Resort opened its new high-speed 6-passenger Peru Express Lift located in the Mountain House base area of the resort. The new lift greatly enhances the on-mountain guest experience and improves skier and rider circulation out of the Mountain House base area, providing guests more time to enjoy the mountain.

Summer on-mountain operations commence at Keystone Resort on Thursday, June 24 with the return of the Bike Park, scenic lift rides and hiking, plus the opening of additional activities in Lakeside Village including gemstone panning and bungee trampolines.

Vail Resorts announced today plans for summer operations at its five Colorado resorts. Crested Butte will kick off the summer season and operations on June 12, with Breckenridge on June 18, Vail and Beaver Creek on June 19, and Keystone on June 24. Following a reduced operating footprint last summer, guests can look forward to more activities on tap at the resorts for the upcoming summer season.
