VAIL RESORTS CIERRA DESTINOS NORTEAMERICANOS PARA LA TEMPORADA DE ESQUÍ 2019-20
Vail Resorts anunció hoy que todos sus destinos turísticos y tiendas minoristas ubicados en Norteamérica permanecerán cerrados lo que resta de la temporada de esquí de invierno 2019-20 debido a los desafíos asociados con la propagación del coronavirus (COVID-19). La decisión sigue al anuncio previo de la Compañía, sobre cerrar sus centros turísticos desde el domingo 15 de marzo hasta el domingo 22 de marzo. La Compañía considerará la reapertura de Breckenridge Ski Resort en Colorado, Heavenly Mountain Resort en Lake Tahoe y Whistler Blackcomb en Columbia Británica a finales de Abril / principios Mayo, dependiendo de la situación con COVID-19, así como las condiciones climáticas.

All Vail Resorts properties are operating normally. The health and wellbeing of our employees and guests is our top priority. As a part of that commitment, Vail Resorts is closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization’s (WHO) statements regarding novel coronavirus (COVID-2019) and following the guidelines from these agencies, as well as from local health departments where we operate resorts in the United States, Canada and Australia.

Vail Resorts to Acquire Falls Creek and Hotham Ski Resorts in Victoria, Australia
Vail Resorts announced today that it has entered into an agreement to purchase the ski fields at Falls Creek Alpine Resort and Hotham Alpine Resort in Victoria, Australia. The acquisition, which is subject to certain regulatory approvals, is expected to close prior to the commencement of the Australian snow season in June 2019.

Rusutsu, Japan Joins the Epic Australia Pass for the 2019-20 Winter Season
Vail Resorts today announced a long-term alliance with one of the most renowned resorts in the world for deep powder and tree skiing, Rusutsu Resort, located in Hokkaido, Japan, just 90 minutes from Sapporo and New Chitose Airport. Beginning with the 2019-20 season, the Epic Australia Pass, Epic Pass and Epic Local Pass will offer five consecutive complimentary days with no blackout dates at the three unique, interlinked mountains that make up Rusutsu Resort.
