In celebration of spring, the 10th annual Spring Grüv will kick off at Park City Mountain on March 25 for 16 straight days of free concerts and daily activities, including the 21st Annual Pond Skimming competition.
Through the Epic SchoolKids program, all Utah elementary school students – kindergarten through fifth grade – can receive five free days of skiing or snowboarding at Park City Mountain and a free first-time ski or snowboard lesson with complimentary rental equipment.
Since Christmas Eve, the new Patagonia store on the corner of Main Street and Heber Avenue, in the space formerly occupied by the Silver Queen Hotel, has been open for business and selling its signature collection of outdoor clothing. On Feb. 4, the 3,000 sq. ft. shop finally made its official debut with a crowded grand opening celebration and fundraiser in support of Park City’s Mountain Trails Foundation.

After one of the snowiest Januarys in resort history, Park City Mountain is gearing up for an unforgettable spring. To celebrate the season, Park City Mountain will host its annual Spring Concert Series and 10th Annual Spring Grüv Celebration with a lineup of local and national bands including Crystal Fighters and MAGIC GIANT.
The New Year has resolved to deliver massive amounts of snow across ski resorts in the western United States, with as much as six feet falling in the last week. A heavy band of snow is expected to continue falling today across the mountains throughout the day, including Colorado’s Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek Resort, Breckenridge and Keystone; Utah’s Park City Mountain; and the Lake Tahoe Region’s Heavenly Mountain Resort, Northstar California and Kirkwood Mountain Resort.
Within a week of opening for the ski season, resorts throughout western North America received a massive dose of winter weather – including the arrival of as much as six feet of snow accumulation and cold temperatures which dipped to the single digits. National weather forecasts call for additional snowfall and continued cold temperatures throughout the first week of December.
