The addition of the Zephyr Lodge, Promised Land Express chairlift, new snowmaking and new retail stores in the Village at Northstar will require the hiring of even more staff members (in both full- and part-time capacities) in addition to positions the resort annually hires for such as lift operations, lift maintenance, food and beverage, ski patrol, Ski & Snowboard School, product sales and service, vehicle maintenance, security, lodging, retail operations and more. On average, the resort employs a total of approximately 1,900 seasonal and year-round employees during the winter season.
“With the size and scope of the investment and projects underway at Northstar, this is without a doubt going to be an exciting season,” said Bill Rock, chief operating officer at Northstar Resort. “And, with the current status of the economy, we’re fortunate to be part of a larger organization that is helping to put people in our local community to work.”
